OK before you say 'buy a new computer', I just want to put it out there that my other computer is an i7 3.4ghz 12gb ram SSD Win7 (is that like saying 'my other car is a Porsche'?), but I don't want to use that for audio if I can help it (it's my 'everything else' machine, web, games, the occasional video edit, photo edit).
